There are a number of events coming up to celebrate and commemorate Aiki International Peace Week.

Kayla Feder Sensei and Brandon WilliamsCraig are offering a special class at Aikido of Berkeley on September 21st. Robert Kent, the President of Aiki Extensions will be present at the training. You can ask him about the work of Aiki Extensions, Peace Camp and other efforts to use Aikido as a bridge for international understanding.

Aikido of Bodega Bay will dedicate the training on Monday, September 20th, to Aiki International Peace Week. This will be held at Shugyo Center, outside Sebastopol from 5-6 PM.

And The Shift Network has created a virtual peace summit. Featured will be Nobel Laureate Betty Williams, Ambassador John McDonald, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, 13 Indigenous Grandmothers and other speakers and those who have tirelessly worked for peace. Recordings of the events leading up to and including those follow during Peace Week can be downloaded at Calendar/recordingspage. (It appears you need to log on to obtain this.)

Remember, participating is as easy as signing up your dojo or community. You do NOT need to be an Aikido dojo. Any martials dojos or schools are welcome.

A small step forward for a big global change. Please contact Aiki Extensions for more information about how you can join in this world-wide movement.

Just image what we can all do together.
